Trip Mantra and Trip Planning

'
I am leaving for my trip on Sunday and I have to admit, I'm a little nervous to be by myself for 35 days in four foreign countries where I don't speak any of the languages.  I know that enjoying the trip will, to a degree, depend on my mind set going into it.

After sharing my concerns with my best friend, Tiffani, she sent me this picture (see above) with a sign saying "Don't [mess] up this trip, Martini."  She is basically trying to give me some tough love and let me know that this is within my own control.  I decided to make it the mantra of the trip and I dedicated a page to it in my Smashbook.

Under it I told myself to "Be Brave."  I downloaded that font (I believe it's called Fish Fingers) from the web site "da font" where you can download many many fonts for free. I uploaded them into my Cameo program and cut it out there.

I love this compass that I cut out on the silhouette below!  I backed it on pink paper and then cut around that.
Below is a list of all the things I have to do to prepare for the trip.  I made a stencil that said "Prep Work" and used a pencil to put the words on the page.  Under it are all my lists of things to buy, do, plan, etc.
On this page (on the right), I journaled in pink to make the page pop out.  Each circle highlights a city where I'm staying on the trip and I wrote my hotel info and what I'm looking forward to doing when I get there.
